Trevor qualified from Curtin University in 1990, having already spent two years working full-time prior to graduation with two private architectural practices and the then government architects office, “The Building Management Authority”. Upon meeting Allan in his Darlington design studio and joining Allan’s practice two days later, it became apparent that both Allan and Trevor shared the same approach to architectural design and philosophies on business and lifestyle.
After five years working with Allan (1990-1995), Trevor left to gain experience in a varied array of commercial, Government (state and local), and non-residential architecture projects, while also transitioning from full drafting by hand to the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD).
During the nine years in a medium-sized city-based architectural practice, Trevor’s experience ranged from medical rooms, construction of a full school campus, and various projects for the Ministry of Justice, Education Department and State Housing. The variety of work was broad and Trevor attained the position of Associate before deciding to work again with Allan full time.
Although working in a busy Perth office, Trevor continued to assist Allan in his work throughout this period, before the two commenced their formal partnership in 2004, when the first Midland office was opened.
Today, Trevor is the Managing Principal Architect of the practice, bringing his own flair and ideas for the practice’s designs whilst also drawing on his earlier experience and collaboration with Allan.
