Kalamunda residence

On this north-south orientated property the challenge was to get north winter light into the living areas whilst providing a spacious modern residence to meet the clients’ brief.
Designed as a single storey house to maximise accessibility will ensure this residence suits the owners into the future. With good orientation, high levels of insulation and a concrete slab on ground for thermal mass, this residence will only be slightly reliant on artificial heating and cooling throughout the year.
